SafeKeep

Terms of Service

Last updated: 1 October 2026 · Effective: 1 October 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Usman Mahmood, an individual developer in Lahore, Pakistan, who publishes SafeKeep as BinaryCraftsmen ("SafeKeep", "we", "us"), for the SafeKeep app and the services behind it (together, "SafeKeep"). By creating an account or using SafeKeep you accept them. If you don't, please don't use SafeKeep.

1. What SafeKeep is

SafeKeep keeps your personal documents (receipts, warranties, bills, certificates, IDs and similar papers) organised, searchable and encrypted on your phone. It reads the text of your documents on your phone, suggests labels and dates, and can remind you of deadlines you choose. Cloud AI auto-fill is optional and works only when you turn it on. The Free plan can show ads (section 5).

2. Your account

3. Your documents

4. Privacy

How we handle your data is explained in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.

5. Plans and ads

6. Your data is on your phone: keep it safe

7. Reading, AI suggestions and reminders

8. Fair use

Don't:

We may suspend features for an account that does, as described in section 11.

9. Services from others

SafeKeep relies on Google (Firebase, Gemini, Play, AdMob) and Apple (App Store), whose own terms also apply to your use of their services. We're not responsible for their services, but we choose providers that protect your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Ending the agreement

12. Disclaimers

SafeKeep is provided "as is" and "as available". As far as the law allows, we don't promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, that text reading or AI suggestions will be accurate, or that reminders will always arrive on time. SafeKeep doesn't give legal, financial or tax advice, and it isn't an official identity wallet or a certified document archive.

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that can't be limited by contract.

13. Liability

As far as the law allows:

None of this excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, for gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or for anything else the law doesn't allow us to exclude or limit. If you're a consumer in the EEA or the UK, this section doesn't affect your statutory rights, for example when SafeKeep doesn't work as described.

14. Changes

We may update SafeKeep and these terms. We'll tell you in the app before a change that affects you takes effect; if you keep using SafeKeep after that, the new terms apply. If you don't agree, you can delete your account.

15. App Store

If you got SafeKeep from Apple's App Store: these terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to support or maintain the app and isn't responsible for claims about it (including product liability, legal compliance or intellectual property claims); if the app fails its warranty, you may ask Apple to refund the purchase price, and Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them. You confirm you're not in a country under a U.S. Government embargo or on a U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

16. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes go to the courts of Lahore, Pakistan. If you use SafeKeep as a consumer, this doesn't take away the protection of the consumer laws where you live, or any right those laws give you to bring a claim in your local courts. Before going to court, please write to us at binarycraftsmen@gmail.com so we can try to solve the problem.
