Where are my documents stored?
On your phone, encrypted. SafeKeep's servers never receive them, which also means nobody can recover them for you if the phone is lost, so keep the originals of documents that matter.
Does SafeKeep need the internet?
Scanning, reading the text, search and reminders work offline. The app checks your plan when you're online, and optional cloud AI needs a connection.
What does it cost?
SafeKeep is free, with non-personalised ads. A Plus subscription without ads is planned for people who want more. Documents you've saved are never locked, whatever your plan.
Which phones does it work on?
Android phones with Android 12 or newer, from Google Play. iPhone comes later.
